The director Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center, Sasa Obradovic, is participating in the Second International Conference on Mine Action and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The conference is held in the period 24-26. May, in Baku, Azerbaijan and is organized by ANAMA, the State Agency for Mine Actions of Azerbaijan.
The conference aims to build new partnerships between countries affected by the mine problem, and to mobilize resources to accelerate the achievement of a mine-free world, including ongoing efforts to advocate for the new mine action SDG.
The event brought together a large number of international organizations, operators and policy makers, offering a strategic opportunity to discuss the challenges and realities of mine action for peace and sustainable development.
