The Steering Board of the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans, approved the application for the Integrated Development Program of the Sava and Drina River Corridors, where demining of the right bank of the Sava River is also planned to be implemented.
The total amount of the grant is 8,160,000 EUR.
It is a part of a water management project for the Sava and Drina river basins, within which the demining of the right bank of the Sava River is indicated as the first precondition for any further type of activity in this part.
These projects with a total area of 9,988,168 m2, or about 9.98 km2, are located in Gradiška, Srbac, Odžak, Kozarska Dubica, Derventa, Brod, Šamac, Domaljevac, Brčko and Orašje, while demining activities should last for about 18 months.
