NGO “Posavina without mines” from Brcko, started cooperation with the organization Mine Mark Foundation from the Netherlands, aimed to conduct education about mines and explosive remnants of war in primary schools around Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project, which is currently being implemented in nine schools in the Brcko District of BiH and Posavina Canton, aims to raise the awareness of primary school teachers and pedagogues about the continuous need to educate school children about mines. The project provided posters for school hallways and classrooms as well as to teachers, as an addition to educational material, including free advisory assistance regarding these materials.

Through this project, they also collect information about the interest of schools to participate in future projects that they plan to implement with the mentioned Foundation from the Netherlands and which would be implemented in primary schools throughout BiH. The project has been running for two months and has received a great response from the teaching staff and the principal.

As part of this project, the NGO “Posavina without mines” informs potential users about the possibilities and advantages of using the mobile application for mine suspected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
