The meeting entitled "Mine action cannot wait" is traditionally organized by UNMAS, in cooperation with the Geneva Center for Humanitarian Action, and with the support of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. 

As part of the meeting, it is planned to hold a series of plenary sessions on the topic of mine action in terms of the sustainable return of displaced persons, the impact of mines on the climate and the environment, responsibility in the process of land release, the rights of survivors from the urgent care to an independent dignified life and innovations in the process of mine action. 
BHMAC Director Sasa Obradovic, participates at the meeting, where he plans to meet and discuss the lessons learned, as well as possibilities for future common projects in the field of mine action.
