On September 18, 2009 the team for UXO removal of Civil Protection in Zeničko-dobojski canton have successfully removed a multiple launcher rocket system from Bosnia river banks, reported few days ago by local residents from Poljice. Projectile with weight ofs 23 kg, length 81,4 cm and 7,5 kg of explosive charge of trotil and hexagon composite is explosive remnant of war.



It is assumed that projectile didn’t explode because protection cap on the fuse stayed covered during launching. Projectile came to the surface due to heavy rainfalls.
Traffic at relation Zenica - Janjići was stopped during the clearance operation.
