On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, a BHMAC coordination meeting was held in Brcko, about the so far results in the framework of the project General assessment of mine suspected areas in BiH, as well as the analysis of the municipalities processed during the last couple of months.

General conclusion is that 70 municipalities have been processed by now by BHMAC, Armed Forces and NGO Norwegian People Aid teams, all in accordance with the planned operational plan and project assignment.

We would like to remind that the main objective of the project General assessment of mine suspected areas in BiH is to create a clearer picture of the remaining suspected areas in our country, with better and updated analysis of the existing data, which will serve as a basis for a better planning of mine action projects in the coming period. , in a much more efficient and effective way than in previous years. Finalization of the project is planned by the end of March 2020.
